Effiplus tires obtain NOM Certification

Mexico D.F, Mexico - UHP Tire Mexico is pleased to announce that they have obtained NOM certification for Effiplus (Satec II & III patterns) as of February 2011. NOM (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas) is the Mexican symbol of the mandatory safety signs to indicate the product meets the requirements of NOM-related standards. NOM signs apply to most products, including telecommunications and information technology equipment, household electrical appliances, and other health and potentially dangerous products. Whether it is locally manufactured in Mexico or imported, products must comply with NOM-related product standards. Under Mexican law, NOM side of the card holder must a company of Mexican domicile. This is to ensure product quality, responsibility and maintenance. Test reports and accreditation (SECOF) can only be received from accredited laboratories after extensive product testing. If the products meets the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, the Mexican company is awarded a certificate on behalf of the authorities, and the product can be marked with the signs NOM.
